Dan Merzetti is the President & Co-Founder of IDA, Intelligent Digital Agents. After an incredible journey with DSM Telecom, it’s the right time to take the next step into one of the most transformative technologies of our era: agentic AI.

 

IDA builds fully managed AI Digital Agents that help businesses reduce labor costs, boost productivity, automate complex workflows, improve customer experience and make smarter, faster decisions.

 

They are already developing solutions for Healthcare, Automotive, and Contact Centre operations, with more industries on the way. Their goal is simple: Make advanced AI accessible, affordable, secure and practical for real organizations — without the complexity, steep learning curve, or high barrier to entry.

Dan was formally Founder & President of DSM Telecom, a Halifax-based phone company with telecom business solutions throughout Atlantic Canada and beyond. DSM offered fully Cloud VoIP , Microsoft Team Phone, Cloud Contact Centre & Toll Services. After leading the VoIP market since 2010, Dan sold the business in 2025.
